NHL Champs

Because the third period of Game 7 was the first period of the NHL I watched this season, I won't bother analyzing the game. I wonder what gets better ratings in North Carolina: the Hurricanes winning Game 7 or a repeat of a UNC Tar Heel intrasquad basketball practice.

A little Hurricane, Oiler trivia: Because of Hurricane Katrina, many New Orleans' residents sought refuge in the former home of the Houston Oilers.

Does anyone else find it ironic that the Patriots have won 3 Super Bowls since backing away from the Hartford deal and the Whalers have won 2 Stanley Cups since leaving?

Talk about a "What If."

Avoiding Hartford is a victory in itself.

If the Pats and Whalers played in Hartford, it would still suck to drive through there.

Godfather - how have the Whalers won 2 Stanley Cups since leaving? Did they win a Stanley Cup in your "NHL Hockey '06" ?

shows how much I follow hockey lately. well, they've been to the Finals twice. how about that?

you don't question whether Len Bias would have been as good as Michael Jordon though?

you really are a homer fan? do you have a pink Red Sox cap too? if you don't understand that comment, do a search on the Boston Herald archives for Tony Massaratti's column a few weeks ago.
