It's likely true that steroids don't help the hand-eye coordination, so you can't take much away from Barry's two batting titles and four other top-7 avg seasons. The man is a good hitter, well above average. <BR/>However, when you consider how many of his HRs would have been warning track flies or less without the use of the juice, his average drops, and where would that leave him ranked?<BR/>But his HR totals... I'll just say that <B>if</B> he has been juicing, then those numbers are tainted, ridiculous garbage, and have no place cheapening the record books of baseball. <BR/>That goes for McGwire and Sosa as well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
