Very Important: Fenway's New Chant

Sox fans have about 5 months to come up with a new chant when the Yanks are in Fenway. "Year 2000," (last NY win) and "2004" (Sox win) seem to be the leading candidates, but I think we can do better.

"1918" was such a powerful chant. The words "1918" brought thoughts of parents and grandparents not living to see the Red Sox win. They made me seriously wonder if I'd see them win. Then my thoughts would jump to why they haven't won since 1918: coming up short in 1946, 1949, 1967, 1975, 1978, 1986, 2003; terrible trades, terrible managers, and a better (gulp) Yankee team. The chant "1918" brought darkness to all Sox fans. Fortunately, that ordeal is over.

"Year 2000" or "2004" will not have such a strong impact on Yankee fans. You can't really taunt fans for not winning in the last 4 years. "2004," is a little better but I still think it's a bit vague. We need a chant that specifically brings back thoughts of the Yankees squandering a 3-0 lead to their biggest rivals. Here are some ideas, some better than others:

"Up 3 nothing"
"Thank you Yankees"
"Thank you chokers"
"Thank you A-Rod"

The above are all in the 4 syllable category similar to "1918." While most chants fit into this category, sometimes fans will get "in the zone," and exceed expectations with a call and response chant. For example, in the 1999 playoffs, Clemens was pulled early and Fenway came up with, "Where is Roger? .... In the showers." So here's some call and response chants:

"Up 3 nothing...Yankees stills lost"
"Down 3 nothing...Red Sox still won"
"1918...It means nothing"

I'm not thrilled with any of these, but we do have 5 months. Please send me your ideas.
