Time to find another "next great American tennis player"

Good news, Andy Roddick lost in the first round of the U.S. Open to Gilles Muller of Luxembourg.

I'm not gonna root for a guy just because he's an American. Roddick follows the McEnroe's tradition of being arrogant and obnoxious with no sportsmanship.

If an American follows the Arthur Ashe tradition by being classy on the court - Jim Courier, Todd Martin, Pete Sampras are good examples - I'll root for them.
