The Bucks are claiming they didn't want a lame duck coach next yeat and that they wanted Porter to have chance to go after the Portland job.
My guess is that the Bucks want to draft Andrew Bogut, but Porter doesn't want to be stuck with him. The Bucks probably don't want a guy coaching a number one pick that he didn't want.
