I'm complimenting an announcer. I enjoy listening to Hubie Brown. Sure he talks too much in the second person, gets too excited about a well timed time out, and is too complimentary to the officials.
Nonetheless, I cannot think of another national broadcaster that knows so much about the sport he's covering. With most announcers you're lucky to learn something new from him once a game. With Brown you get several nuggets of basketball education each quarter
