Game one thoughts

  • I was feeling pretty smart when Detroit built that early lead, but, as usually, that feeling did not last long.
  • Rasheed Wallace hit two great shots early in the first quarter that there was no way Duncan could block. He goes on to 4 more shots for the rest of the game. This doesn't make sense. Detroit has to get him the ball.
  • Sure, both teams have great defenses, but there were a lot of missed open shots.
  • When you don't see Duncan for a while, you forget how good he is. He's the best player in basketball.
  • I'm not giving up on my Detroit pick. Rip Hamilton usually doesn't miss the shots he was missing last night.
